Sheep wool is the primary fiber of felt and is known for its resilient natural fiber, allowing it to outlast other polishing materials. Felts permeable quality admits abrasive particles and produces an even sharp polishing surface. As felt wears down it maintains it’s even surface allowing for clean cut polishing for long periods of time.
